A SaaS marketing audit is a structured review of every asset and channel that touches your buyer's decision — your homepage, messaging, search visibility, sales deck, and lead generation flow. The goal isn't to produce a report card. It's to find the specific gaps costing you demos and pipeline, and give you a prioritized plan to fix them.

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is about ranking in Google for the terms your buyers search. AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) is about appearing in featured snippets, People Also Ask boxes, and zero-click search results — the answers Google surfaces before someone clicks anything. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is newer: it's about being cited and recommended by AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude when someone asks a question your product can answer.

For B2B SaaS, all three matter because your buyers are searching across all three surfaces. If your content only targets traditional SEO, you're invisible in the channels that are growing fastest.

At minimum: read access to your GA4 and Google Search Console, your current homepage URL, and any sales or marketing assets you want reviewed (deck, one-pager, etc.). If you have CRM data showing where leads drop off, that's useful but not required. The kickoff call takes 30 minutes and covers everything we need to scope the audit correctly.

Not at all — pre-Series A is often the best time to do this. You're about to invest heavily in growth, and the audit tells you where to point that investment. The one caveat: if you're completely pre-revenue with no buyer data at all, the signal is too thin to audit. You need at least some traffic, a few customers, or active outbound activity for the findings to be meaningful.

Demand generation covers how you're creating and capturing buyer interest at the top of the funnel. In the audit, we review your lead magnets (are they pulling in the right audience?), your content-to-conversion path (does traffic have a clear next step?), and the balance between demand creation (making people aware of a problem) vs. demand capture (converting people already looking for a solution). Quick wins that take a day or two come first — typically copy fixes on the homepage, CTA changes, or repositioning a lead magnet. Bigger structural changes (a full messaging overhaul, a new content pillar, a deck rebuild) are staged across 30–90 days with clear sequencing. Nothing is vague. Every item is something you can actually hand off or execute yourself.
